For its latest round of collaborations, Converse joins forces with LA-based artist Joshua Vides to bring forth reimagined iterations of the iconic Chuck 70s, featuring custom patches and interchangeable panels.
The collaborative silhouettes arrive sporting black and white velcro panels, alongside bold Pantone hued removable canvas patches allowing for various ways of customization. Both designs feature Joshua's iconic linework detailings throughout the toe caps and rubber soles for a playful touch. While the monochrome piece sees contrasting linework detailings and is seen paired with off-white and black canvas hued patches, the white pairs sport the same linework in a lighter color with black paint splatters and vibrant color blocking patches, namely, orange, pink, green, yellow, red and blue.
The Converse x Joshua Vides Chuck 70s collaboration will be available on HBXWM at 10 PM EST, Aug 15. Scroll through the photos above to take a closer look at the limited edition styles. Head over here to check out our recent editorial featuring timeless ways to style denim essentials.
