A London-based brand Le Kilt just arrived at HBX for the first time with an array of its signature check pleated skirts. Founded in 2014 by Samantha McCoach, the label began with a single kilt style made by the founder's Italian grandmother, a former kilt maker who worked on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile for over 40 years. Aiming to introduce the Scottish heritage and sustainability to a modern audience, all the label's garments are handcrafted in small-scale manufacturers from across the UK. One notable piece from the concise line-up of versatile and archival 100% British wool staples is the Macleod Of Lewis Tartan 18-inch Skirt. The a-line cut design is detailed with a traditional silver kilt pin, and contrasting leather buckles fastening on the sides. The silhouette is offered in both forest green and yellow iterations, as well as a muti-colour option.
