Titled “Night Shift”, the Heron Preston Fall/Winter 2019 Collection sees an array of uniform-inspired yet functional staples featuring colorful outerwear made from upcycled military-grade parachute nylon, NASA-inspired pieces and the designer's hallmark Cyrillic “STYLE” logo, to name a few. Taking plenty of references from Preston's frequent travels around the world, the collection reimagines his fascination with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents, prohibited items and restricted areas.
Spotlighted first are the matching Crop Windbreaker and Nylon Shorts adorned with contrasting orange side panels and stripes alongside drawstring elastic detailings. While the eye-catching top sees a half zip fastening and flap pocket at front, the bottom comes in a high-waist cut and curved hems. Another highlight is the CTNMb Tailored Mini Skirt. The design features utilitarian pockets emboldened with iconic “СТИЛЬ” verbiage, and a standout orange button closure. The skirt is seen paired with the NASA Facts Oversized T-shirt. Paying homage to NASA’s 60th anniversary, the piece is emblazoned with a series of red printed annotated text about The Space Shuttle throughout. Rounding out the range is an assortment of statement accessories such as KK Tape Belt, offered in orange and red hues, alongside CTNMb Chain Necklace and Barbwire Necklace for more elevated styles.
