First teased in April, the highly-anticipated Vans x Harry Potter Sneaker Collection is now available for a closer look. In addition to the previously announced models inspired by the fictional Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry’s houses, four extra Harry Potter themed designs are incorporated to the classic silhouettes to reconstruct the J.K. Rowling magic world. Reinterpreting classic silhouettes, the collaboration will be available on HBX at 10 AM EST, Jun 7. Offered in various classic Vans styles, spotlighted first is the Gryffindor Sk8-hi . Constructed from red and gold-hued stripes emblazoned across the black suede upper, while a muted white midsole offers contrast to the design. The house’s symbolic lion motif patch dominates the sidewall, with a rubberized logo heel tag completing the high-top sneaker. Hogwarts’ infamous Marauder’s Map is highlighted on the black and white Slip-on , with magical spell “MISCHEF MANAGED” detailed on both heel caps. Rounding out the themed capsule is the Golden Snitch inspired Old Skool , reimagining the Quidditch game-winning sphere with gold-tone detailings. A bold golden wings-adorned sidewall is bought forth alongside a sphere embroidered deubré centered at the shoelaces and finished with matching rubber soles.
