New Deliveries: Fear of God SS19 Footwear
[socials/]Inspired by designer Jerry Lorenzo’s Christian faith and Kanye West’s “Jesus Walks”, Fear of God has been building steam with its Nike collaboration which ranked ninth place on the Lyst index of hottest sneakers of Q1 2019. Drawing more attention to its in-house collection, Lorenzo continues to unveil a range of premium footwear to the label’s Sixth Collection — succeeding the previous release of reinvented classic silhouettes. A highlight from the latest arrivals, the Skate Mid is a new style for the season sported in interstellar Italian rough-out suede. Designed with opulence in mind, the model stands out with its forefoot strap overlaying the god grey laces. Tonal stitching throughout accents with the top-shelf quality finished by a chunky midsole.
Elsewhere, the Collection Hiker is delivered in two colorways played in slightly different materials. Crafted from suede, the God Grey Collection Hiker is accented by the black calf toe cap and similar patches around the collar and heel counter. A beefy treaded midsole is made translucent to show underlying details, paired with laces secured by the signature toggle stopper. Alternatively, the Olive Collection Hiker is swapped for a nubuck body and a rubber midsole, garnished by red trekking laces around extra silver lace hooks along the throat. Rounding out the latest release, the Polar Wolf boots is yet another piece in the brand’s staple god grey, toned by pull-loops attached to the black neoprene collar extending up till the throat line.
