ADIDAS ORIGINALS BY HENDER SCHEME 2017 AUTUMN/WINTER COLLECTION

The anticipated footwear collaboration of adidas Originals x Hender Scheme is now online. Reinterpretations of the NMD R1 and Superstar silhouettes are included in this collection. The coveted sneakers are all handmade in Tokyo and limited to 900 pairs only, due to the traditional craftsmanship technique and the intricate process it requires to create them. Through natural use, the shoes will age and morph to bear their own unique characteristics over time. Sneakers are generally considered industrial products, but the traditional processes applied will remind the wearer of the craft of shoemaking. Moreover, the signature nail-in sole marks each shoe of this special collaboration; a sizing system is added whereby the number of nails in the outsole correspond with each model’s size.
