HBX's Weekly Top Drops

It’s been a week of throwback releases at HBX, with collections that evoke pop culture of recent history as well as exotic styles of the long bygone past. First up was the Ghostbuster collection designed by rapper Nas, released in anticipation of the cult film’s all-female reboot this year. Featuring sneakers, eyewear and apparel produced in collaboration with HSTRY, FILA and Italia Independent, the spooky yet sleek line is a must-cop for fans of the franchise. Despite being a newcomer to the HBX portfolio, Toronto-based The Common-Folk also looks back into the past, specifically the pre-war era of Japan before it fell victim to the Americana craze. Its kimono-inspired offerings this season will give wearers an authentic experience of Japanese vintage. Moving to the present, LA-based streetwear brand Youth Machine has also released a selection of tees and caps that parody heritage sportswear and luxury brands – paying homage in a witty, tongue-in-cheek manner. Check out our top 10 products of the week below.
