Y-3, a collaboration label from adidas directed by the famous Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto in which Y stands for Yohji Yamamoto and 3 represents adidas' three signature stripes. Well known for his avant-garde designs and striking silhouettes, the designer's collaboration with adidas aims to bring Yamamoto’s sartorial aesthetics to the adidas brand by fusing high fashion with advanced sportswear and to make sportswear elegant and chic.
