Phenomenon, established in 2004 by Takeshi Osumi, reinterprets distinctly traditional Japanese silhouettes with influences from music and club culture. Not known for its conservatism, Phenomenon's collections are filled with a variety of vivid prints and colors, making the brand a regular in the wardrobes of Tokyo's avant-garde.

Phenomenon's Spring/Summer 2016 collection is founder Takeshi Osumi's last, and the designer has brought his A game this season, creating vibrant and eclectic pieces for the streetwear brand. His refashioning of the bomber jacket features an army green camouflage print, and is accentuated by subtle flap pockets at the front and contrasting cuffs and hem in navy and white stripe, subverting regimented military wear in spectacular fashion.
