Patrik Ervell

PATRIK ERVELL debuted in 2006 at the store Opening Ceremony in New York as one of the first designers carried there. Ervell is noted for his use of innovative and unusual fabrics including gold foil, vintage parachutes, fabrics died with oxidized iron and copper, handmade rubber raincoats, horsehair, and most recently splash-dyed silks. His designs are characterized as utilitarian, minimal and elegant. No stranger to accolades, PATRIK ERVELL was selected in 2007 as a winner of the Ecco Domani Award for Menswear. Since then, Patrik has been nominated three times for the CFDA’s Swarovski Award for Menswear – in 2008, 2009 and 2010, and for CFDA Menswear Designer of the year in both 2011 and 2012. Patrik was also one of the winners of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award in 2009.
