Founded by Alana Hadid and Emily Perlstein in 2017, La Detresse is a Los Angeles based fashion label that began as the product of a mutual obsession between the former stylists and friends for the perfect denim jacket. The duo founded La Detresse - the line organically evolved to include knitwear and casualwear. The brand tries to balance vintage and androgyny with wearability and innovation. La Detresse has been worn by Gigi Hadid, Winnie Harlow, Tan France, Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What, Caroline Vreeland, Dua Lipa, Aly Michalka, Mary Charteris, Susie Bubble & Fearne Cotton to name a few.
