HUMAN MADE returns with a line up of modern workwear pieces outlined in their Spring/Summer 2019 Collection. Spanning vintage pinstripes, chain-stitch embroidery, custom engraved buttons and rugged Japanese denim, quality can be found in the details of each garment with close inspection. Its vintage minutiae can be attribued to the technology of well-preserved Japanese looms that sit inside the label's manufacturer WAREHOUSE & CO., producing garments akin to the ones that came before the post-modern boom of speedy global mass consumption. Continuing this appreciation for quality workwear, standout pieces this season include the HUMAN MADE Shop Coat, featuring an embroidered hamburger at the back, a reimagined Tankers Jacket as well as the denim Kung-Fu Jacket, dyed black and distressed while denoting Nigo's latest Pharrell-affiliated music project "Honest Boyz" at the back. Other pieces like the HUMAN MADE two-piece sweatshirt, all-over print duffle coat, felt caps, sweaters, hoodies and socks round out the collection, putting on full display Nigo's idiosyncratic design sensibilities.
