Headed by brothers Victor and Julius Juul, the Fall/Winter 2019 Collection of Copenhagen-based label HELIOT EMIL continues to develop utilitarian pieces with muted palettes of black and grey. Focusing on experimental fabrics and textiles, the militaristic pieces are realized through industrial-style buckles, straps and carabiners.
As the imprint informs the Asymmetrical Drawstring Detail Vest with retrofuturistic elements, the garment is highlighted by silver-tone hardware, zip pockets and tonal stitching. Combining technical details with a deconstructed silhouette, HELIOT EMIL creates a unique layering piece for the cold-weather season, including utilitarian upgrades such as the carabiner keyring and front zip pouch. Other highlighted pieces include the Logo Print Sweater, Grip Gloves and the Belt Bag.
