The father of Japanese streetwear NIGO returns once more with this spring/summer collection for HUMAN MADE, his Americana-influenced brand which focuses on revitalizing vintage silhouettes from the pre-1960s era. The brand is known for collaborating with vintage reproduction experts like Warehouse to ensure quality and authenticity in its garments, while also incorporating eclectic and charming illustrations by graphic designer Sk8thing to lighten things up. This season, HUMAN MADE looks towards mid-century themes and imagery, reproducing them on basic staples. Graphic tees dominate its offerings, featuring pastoral and urban imagery that capture the tone of life in the 1960s. Yet another highlight of the collection is the brand’s slim cut denim jeans, a recreated vintage workwear staple that has been treated to mimic intensive wear, with whisker fading to die for.
