Designer Kenzo Takada was one of the foremost pioneers of Japanese fashion in the West, transplanting elements of traditional folk costumes into high fashion. Kenzo was taken over by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon of Opening Ceremony in 2011, and has since become known for its vibrant prints and playful renditions of Japanese motifs.
These leather sneakers are embellished with an allover typographic pattern featuring the Kenzo brand name printed in bold contrasting white. Constructed in a slip on style, the sneakers are finished with a rubber sole and logo patch at the back heel.
